Shipping Policy
1. Overview
Saan Designs ships across India and to select international destinations. We partner with trusted and reliable courier services to ensure your order reaches you safely and on time. This policy outlines everything you need to know about our shipping process, timelines, charges, and responsibilities.
2. Order Processing Time
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team begins processing your order. Please note the following:
- Standard orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days.
- Handcrafted-to-order or made-to-order pieces may take 1–4 weeks to dispatch, depending on the complexity of the design and embroidery.
- Corporate gifting and bulk orders will have custom timelines communicated at the time of order confirmation.
- Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
The following are estimated delivery timelines from the date of dispatch:
- Domestic – Metro Cities: 2–3 business days
- Domestic – Tier 2 / Tier 3 Cities: 3–5 business days
- Domestic – Remote / Rural Areas: 4–7 business days
- International – Standard: 7–10 business days
- International – Remote Locations: 7–10 business days
These are estimated timelines. Actual delivery may vary due to factors such as courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, or customs clearance for international shipments.
4. Shipping Charges
4.1 Domestic Shipping (Within India)
- Free shipping on all orders across India, no minimum order value required.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for select PIN codes within India. COD orders may attract an additional handling charge as communicated at checkout.
4.2 International Shipping
- Free international shipping on orders above INR 40,000.
- For orders below INR 40,000, shipping charges will range from INR 3,000 to INR 5,000 or as per actuals based on the weight, volume, and destination country.
- International shipping charges will be displayed at checkout or communicated at the time of order confirmation.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for international orders.
5. Shipping Partners & Tracking
We work with leading, trusted logistics partners to ensure reliable delivery across India and internationally. Once your order is dispatched:
- You will receive a shipping confirmation via email and/or WhatsApp with your tracking number and a link to track your shipment.
- You can track your order directly on the courier partner’s website using the tracking number provided.

6. International Shipping
6.1 Countries We Ship To
Saan Designs ships to a wide range of international destinations including but not limited to:
- USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, New Zealand
- European Union countries, including Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Italy
- Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Mexico

6.2 Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
For international orders, please note the following:
- We ship on an FOB (Freight on Board) basis. Once the shipment leaves India, the customer assumes all responsibility for the parcel.
- Your order may be subject to import duties, customs charges, and local taxes levied by your destination country. These charges are entirely borne by the customer.
- Saan Designs has no control over customs procedures and cannot predict the exact duties applicable. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information.
- By placing an international order, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of your country.
- Delays caused by customs clearance are beyond our control. We will, however, do our best to support you with any documentation required.
7. Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Address
Please ensure your delivery address, contact number, and PIN code / ZIP code are accurate at the time of placing your order.
- Saan Designs is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details provided by the customer.
- If a delivery attempt fails due to the customer’s unavailability, the courier may attempt re-delivery or hold the parcel at their facility for a limited period. Re-delivery charges, if any, will be borne by the customer.
- In case of a returned-to-origin (RTO) parcel due to incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, re-shipping charges will apply.
- Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the provided address, especially for high-value orders.
8. Damaged or Lost in Transit
8.1 Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives visibly damaged:
- Do NOT accept the parcel. Request the delivery agent to mark it as “Damaged” and return it.
- If damage is discovered after opening, contact us within 48 hours with your Order ID, photographs, and an unboxing video clearly showing the damage.
- We will coordinate with our logistics partner and arrange a replacement or refund as per our Returns & Exchange Policy.
8.2 Lost Parcels
In the rare event that your parcel is lost in transit:

- We will raise a formal investigation with the courier partner. Resolution timelines may vary depending on the courier’s process.
- Once confirmed as lost, we will arrange a replacement or full refund.
9. Delays & Special Circumstances
While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, certain situations may cause unavoidable delays:
- Natural calamities, extreme weather conditions, or force majeure events.
- National holidays or festive seasons (delays during peak seasons like Diwali, Eid, Christmas, etc. are possible).
- Strikes, political unrest, or disruptions in courier network operations.
- Delays at customs for international shipments.
In all such cases, our Customer Service team will keep you informed and work closely with our logistics partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
10. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
- COD is available on select domestic orders subject to PIN code serviceability.
- COD is strictly NOT available for international orders, customised / bespoke orders, and corporate gifting orders.
- An additional COD handling fee may apply and will be communicated at checkout.
- For COD orders, please ensure exact cash is available at the time of delivery.
- COD orders are not eligible for returns or refunds as per our Returns & Exchange Policy.
11. Packaging
At Saan Designs, we believe the unboxing experience is an extension of the luxury product itself. All orders are:
- Carefully folded and wrapped in tissue paper to preserve the quality of the textile.
- Sealed in premium branded packaging to reflect the craftsmanship within.
- Packed securely in protective outer packaging for safe transit.
